My New Website

Welcome to my new website! Pretty nice, isn't it? I certainly think so.
It is still kinda barebones and very much a WIP, but it's functional enough at this point. I'm also just impatient sometimes... For those of you who did visit my previous site, you may have noticed the lack of an RSS feed. Rest assured, this is only temporary. You see, I was previously using Astro for building my website, and while it was nice to work with, I wanted something a bit simpler. So for the past 2 weeks or so I've been building my own static site generator using Nim, and having a bit of fun doing so. Eventually I may share the source of the static site generator, it isn't really all that specific to my website, but there are a few features I'd want to add before then.

Additionally, I'm back in college for Computer Engineering! I just finished an associates in Game & Simulation Development: Graphics this past May, and rather than going for a bachelors in the same field, I figured I'd give computer engineering another go. So far, so good. I've met quite a few, somewhere around a half dozen, other computer engineering students already and we're just entering week 4.

I never did read those 5 books in 2024, but I have recently finished We Are Legion (We Are Bob) by Dennis E. Taylor, and just finished Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir the other day. Y'all should read them, both are fantastic sci-fi books. I'm now making my way through The Children of Aegis by Gameyy Builds, so far I'm really enjoying it.
